Rated four stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play," the former Lagoon Legend, just renovated by Nicklaus Design Group is considered by many to be one of the most difficult courses to be found anywhere. Upon opening in 1986, Playboy named the original Bruce Devlin/ Robert Von Hagge design as the country's best new course. And, it's been receiving accolades ever since. Although hazards abound, the landing areas are much more forgiving than they look. It pays to keep this in mind as you make your way through the coastal environment of swamps, marshes, lakes, and lagoons.
