| 07/11/2008 - The staff were wonderful....very helpful, courteous and friendly. Posted by Stephen (Interlachen, FL) |
| 03/31/2008 - excellent course! Posted by Ryo (West Bloomfield, MI) |
| 03/24/2008 - one of the course rangers asked how things were going and when I complained jokingly that all was well except the topflight I lost on the last hole, he (Phil was his name working on 3/18/08)cruised by about an hour later with a brand new topflight! Nice touch!
Also, the photo shoot on the first tee with the photo available at the turn. Posted by Les (Farmington, CT) |
| 11/12/2007 - The course was very wet from not a whole lot of rain. Good layout. Posted by Joe (Rocklin, CA) |
| 10/29/2007 - Pace of play - we (2 players) got behind 2 VERY slow foursomes who would not let us play through. The course ranger came a got us on the 11th fairway and took us to tee off on the 13th. We came back to play the rest of 11 and 12. This has never happened in 25 years of golf. EXCELLENT!!! Posted by Bill (Cincinnati, OH) |
| 03/05/2007 - Awesome golf course. Very well run. Posted by Scott (Sioux City, IA) |

The World Golf Village is considered the most ambitious golf project in the history of the game. The first course, The Slammer and The Squire, was designed by architect Bobby Weed and named for golf legends Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. Golfers of all levels are provided a challenge, yet five sets of tees allow the player to choose a length to meet his or her ability. If the ambiance of the World Golf Village is not enough, the service-oriented approach of the course will impress all visitors.
