| 06/21/2008 - It is insane that a premium surcharge course had its restaurant and bar closed for an affair on a WEEKEND! There were no resonable attempts to provide anything other than a hot dog on a beach chair!!! This is unacceptable for a "upscale" course on a busy weekend. | 05/16/2008 - I personally thought of the 5 courses the whole package at Celbration was hard to beat when compared to the other venues. Staff were a delight to deal with from Starters, photographers, bar and dining staff and Pro Shop. The Breakfast we had at the club was the best we had during the week and a nice touch was the leather bond photograph at 20 dollars as a momento of the trip with photo. Opened in 1996, Celebration is an upscale daily-fee resort course designed by the father & son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. The course exudes an atmosphere of beautiful tranquility and fun, challenging golf. The layout is protectively framed by borders of native trees and natural wetlands and speckled with clusters of native oaks, pine and magnolia trees. Featuring strategic hazards and challenging greens, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting. Sporting five sets of tees, the course stretches from 4,933 to 6,792 yards and invites competition from all skill levels. It boasts 18 distinctively fascinating holes with a great deal of variety and wildlife throughout. Meticulously maintained - always!
