06/02/2008 - The poor rating is for the services not the people providing them. It was a very hot day high 80s to low 90s. There was one cart girl for two courses. We say her once the entire 18 holes. If this is standard for the course then when people check in the pro shop they should be informed so they can purchase beverages before going out. Other than this my group had a great time and loved the course. Posted by George (Alachua, FL)
05/12/2008 - We were sent out on the South course which was just aerated, played an additional 9 on the North and was in great conditon Posted by Vince (Hanover, PA)
05/05/2008 - Nice greens Posted by Gabe (Litchfield Park, AZ)
| 12/17/2007 - This is not an enjoyable course for a group like ours that shoots around 100. Greens are incredibly fast and too many holes required extremely long drives for anyone who can't consistently hit 200 yard drives. Course was wonderful, but only for low handicappers. | 05/14/2007 - Great place, outstanding staff. Posted by Wayne (Loveland, OH) |
04/09/2007 - Overall great experience Posted by Robert (Annandale, NJ)

The new North course at Lake Jovita is a tremendous compliment to the original South course. This great new track captures the essence of the fabulous South course in every aspect, and even boasts greater elevation changes, divergent of traditional Florida courses. In fact, on a clear day players can see for nearly five miles to the northeast from the second tee! The new North course is perhaps more fashionable, plays a little longer, and is as popular with club members as the South course. For anyone visiting the greater Tampa Bay area there are now two "must plays" in one convenient location!
Lake Jovita offers several stay-and-play packages, as well as daily tee times to the public. Visitors can stay at privately owned three-bedroom, two-bath club villas overlooking the 18th green.
